About Us
Wonder Spaces is a new company specialising in high-quality educational furniture, as well as innovative and open-ended play and learning resources, headquartered in Hexham, Northumberland. We also have warehouses in Bedford, North of London, to support efficient distribution throughout the UK.
We are a family-owned business with a strong background in education and design. We take pride in providing exceptional support and service throughout every project, with the goal of challenging market leaders.
Our Journey
Our journey in and beyond educational furnishings started with a collaboration with the Play+ design team to offer a distinctive soft furniture range developed with pedagogical consultancy by Reggio Children to support flexible, open-ended, and inclusive children’s environments. In 2023, we partnered with Dusyma, the original kindergarten furniture company from 1925, renowned for high-quality educational furniture and play materials and part of the Dialogue with Reggio network. In 2024, we expanded our range with Lernwabe, whose Swiss architects designed the modular Honeycomb nest/retreat spaces. These partnerships enable us to deliver unique and bespoke solutions for nurseries, schools, family spaces, and public settings.
